End of a Year’s wait !

There is a vision and excitement, a wait and a sense of curiosity. There is a buzz in the curiosity that drives everyone to all boundaries of imagination and builds up the construction for the grand celebration that is to come. Everyone is seen in high spirits, irrespective of all materialistic expressions that spuriously occupy some space in their minds. In fact, what we call a celebration is not mere partying around, but something else that holds an eternal value.

What do we feel when we see a full moon shining coldly on a wide road supported with trees on both sides? We see the shimmering leaves dancing with pleasure and soothing us with the eternal bliss and utter calmness. When the snow falls, twinkling eyes suspect every movement for the arrival of Santa and desperately look for the red socks getting filled with their surprises. What utter innocence and adventure for fun! I love the way people show their eagerness for making their Christmas tree look the best with whatever they can find best to decorate with, tiny lights jingling, deliver a divine expression and the feeling percolates within our souls and reaches out to everyone who experiences such serenity in celebration.

So what happens when the day finally arrives? There’s a song in everyone’s mind, even though he might not be vocal; there’s a jump in everyone’s foot, even though he might not make it literal and there’s a hope to see more excitement throughout the day, even though he might not say it himself. How exciting is the advent of such an occasion. People repeat stories of Jesus’ birth and enlighten young kids. They fall for the miraculous stories and become diligent students of their elders just to know what all they can make merry of for the entire day.

The day and the night of Christmas carry a charm and the harmonious melody rings through all the jingle bells that dwindle in the caps of Santa. How lovely it is to wait for Christmas. An entire year’s wait is now over and Christmas is just around the corner. I will stop writing now and wait for Santa to come over. (Merry Xmas everyone)
